In recent years the Inverness area has developed as a centre of excellence for medical diagnostics with notable growth in knowledge industries such as Information Technology and Biotechnology.
Inverness Airport Business Park has been established as a public private joint venture between the original landowner, Moray Estates Development Company Ltd; Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd; and local enterprise agency, Highlands and Islands Enterprise; with the support of the Highland Council.
